KENNY CUP
The draw for the prestigious Kenny Cup takes place on this Friday night. Please make sure that your name is on the sheet before the draw takes place. Also the Open 3-Ball, any combination, continues until the end of May with the final being played on 26 June. The Open Tuesday Stableford is now in full swing with visitors heartily welcome to sample our new development and enjoy an interesting round of golf.

Juniors should note that they must play off the green markers. The ladies tees are reserved for the ladies and the juniors are requested to use the green markers.

Inter Club
Best of luck to our three teams who will represent the Club at the weekend. First out on Saturday is the Duggan Cup team against Nenagh with two home and three away. Michael Ashe and Francie Horan will be in charge. On Sunday the Diageo Mixed under Presidents David and Doreen face Kilkenny. Away are: Joe Slevin/Marie Tooher, Captains Bernard Kennedy/Kathleen Doorley, Pat Molloy/Frances Ashe and Seamas Breen/Aileen Watkins. Playing at home are: John Irwin/Mary Grennan, Arthur Joyce/Ena Guilfoyle and Roger Byrne/Carina Gleeson.
Also on Sunday the Provincial Towns team under managers Joe Slevin and Paschal Troy take on Cill Dara. The team will be announced later in the week. All teams would welcome your support.
LADIES’ GOLF
A Semi-Open Day will be held on Wednesday, 12th May. This day is kindly sponsored by Monaincha Health & Spa, Roscrea. An ideal opportunity to invite your friends from nearby clubs to play in the Glenns. Timesheet in operation.
Mr. President’s and Lady President’s Prize to the Members will now take place on Sunday, 23rd May. Note change of date! Please come out and support our Presidents for this weekend. The draw for Prize to the Ladies will take place on Thursday, 20th May at 7.00 p.m.
18-Hole Competition sponsored by Liffey Mills on Saturday 22nd and Wednesday 26th May.
Tipperary V Offaly. Sunday, 30th May. Prizes again are kindly sponsored by Anne & Georgina of Gaelic4orce. The sheet for entries will be posted on the notice board for your attention and the ‘neutrals’ can opt for which ever team they prefer!! Do put your name down and enjoy lighter side of golf for this day. Lady Captain we believe is having some vocal tuition for ‘Slievenamon’!!
Open Weekend. On Sunday 6th and Monday 7th June we have Open Weekend with Hugo Loonam Motors, Cloghan kindly sponsoring the competition. An ideal opportunity to invite the golfing pals from away clubs to play in the Glenns. Format is any combination. The timesheet will be available shortly for your attention.
