LEAGUE FINAL
The Spring League final takes place this Sunday morning with an early start at 8.30. The tee is reserved from 8.30 to 10.00. Leading individual was Dick Quinn 172 pts. Presentation of prizes will take place immediately after the finish of the final.

INTER CLUB
Our Central Towns team under Managers Paddy O’Brien and John Kelly came up against a sharp Mountrath team and went down 3/2. Better luck next time.
Our mixed team met a similar fate against Cill Dara on Saturday. The team under Managers Joe Slevin/Ann McIntyre was; Away: Pat Maher/Sheila O’Sullivan and Pat Molloy/Vera Smyth. Home: Larry McGarry/Gemma Butler, Seamas Breen/Rita Delaney, Michael Yates/Sheila Brennan.
LADIES GOLF
The Countess of Granard is running until 22nd May – see book for details.
The Ladies Member’s Prize will take place on Sunday, 9th May. Draw for partners will take place on Thursday 6th May at 7.00 p.m. This competition is kindly sponsored by Arrabawn Co-Op.
Mr. President’s and Lady President’s Prize to the Members. The President’s Prizes to the members will take place on Sunday, 16th May. Please come out and support our Presidents for this weekend. The Draw for Prize to the Ladies will take place on Thursday, 13th May at 7.00 p.m.
The 9 Hole Competition is ongoing at the moment.
Presentation of Outstanding Prizes. All outstanding prizes will be presented on Sunday 9th May. All prize winners please make an effort to attend.
Teams Update. The Challenge Cup and the Intermediate Cup played last Monday Monday 19th with both team recording wins. Well done to both teams in the next round which will take place in mid May. Well done to Managers Des Mulcair and Martina O’Brien.
Bank Holiday Monday. The Annual Charity Day for Fr. Brian Starkan returns on Bank Holiday Monday to the Glenns. Timesheet in operation. This is a charity very worthy of our support and a very worthwhile project. Organiser Ann McIntyre is more than willing to take entries.
LANDSCAPING
Members have commented very favourably on the excellent work done around the first tee and car park. Congratulations to Keith Naylor and Sean Allen of Allen Plantscapers Ltd. of Dundrum.
