Club Trophies
The finals of the club championships will take place on Sunday the 19th and all matches must be completed before that date. The Kenny Cup is at the semifinal stage where Tony McCormack plays Seamas Breen and Billy Donlon faces Eugene Hennessy. In the Hacket Cup, Roger Byrne plays the inform Billy Donlon and Joe Slevin plays John Murphy. There are still a number of matches to go in the Champions’ Trophy and in the Loughnane Cup for juniors. Players are reminded to complete the pairings within the next couple of weeks, Also The Tudenham Cup Final against Mullingar takes place on on Sat. 11 October in Mullingar and the County Inter Club Championship in Birr on Sat. 18 October.

Wednesday Oct 1st is the day for Mary Grennan’s Boyne team to play their semi-final at Edenderry. The delayed Bookies Prize was played on Sunday 28th, and was won by Margaret Murphy 72 pts; 2nd; Martina O’Brien 73pts; Gross; Gemma Butler 82; 3rd Mary Sullivan73’ Category 1 – Susan Reidy -75; Cat.2 Pauline Needham - 74; Cat. 3 Lena Guinan76. Next Sunday – Oct 5th – Pascal and Eleanor Campbell are sponsoring the Ladies open competition for teams of 2 people. This is a great opportunity to invite golfing friends from other clubs to participate.
