Captains’ Prize
Our Captain’ Prize, sponsored by Church Road Motors, Tullamore fell foul of the dreadful weather over the weekend. Despite a promising start on Saturday morning the heavy rains at midday forced play to be abandoned. The competition has been transferred to this weekend with the same time sheet order to be followed. The final round will now be played on Sun.31 August. Lady Captain’s qualifying round will be played on Sat.30th followed by dinner at 7 pm. The Lady Captain’s prize, sponsored by Mary Rigney of Zandra Boutique, will also take place on Sun.31st followed by presentations at 9.30 pm. Music and song to be provided by Richie Burke.
