Congratulations
Heartiest congratulations to Patrice Delaney on winning the Munster Under-18 Ladies Championship at Mallow Golf Club during the week. Patrice who plays off a handicap of 5.5 has just cmpleted her Junior Cert and has decided to concentrate on her golf for the summer. This week she plays in the Under-18 Connaught Ladies in Westport where no doubt she will keep up the good work. We wish her every success and obviously the Delaney trophy cabinet will be in need of an extension before the season is out. Already this year she has been selected for the Irish Under-16 and Under-18 teams and has been in receipt of special coaching at the Irish Golf Academy. Her younger sister Emer has also been selected for coaching at the Heath. Great to see the Forelacka girls hitting the headlines.
