Course development
Members should note that the first tee is back in play from this week. If a ball lands on the new ground it must be teed up befor hitting. Much progress has been made on the new development with changes made to the 1st, 11th and 18th. As the weather conditions have been favourable of late there is every possibility that the new course will be playable before the summer is out.

In Evelyn Lynch’s absence Lady President Bernadette McTague travelled with, and captained the team. Also on Saturday, Lady Vice-Captain Mary Sullivan with Rita Delaney & Maura Flannery secured two matches at home against Glasson in the Minor Cup, while Mona Collins and Des Mulcair won a vital “away” match. In reply Captain Padddy O’Brien welcomed the Wheelchair Association saying that the Club was delighted to support such a worthy cause and guaranteed that our facilities would continue to be made available into the future.
Also congratulations to Sinead Daly and Emer Delaney on being selected for coaching by the Leinster Branch.
