Spring Leagues
The final of the Birr Credit Union Ladies Spring League fell victim to the foul wintry weather at the weekend. The final has now been rearranged for Sat. 6 April. Hopefully conditions will have improved by then. The Men’s League continues until 22 March with the final down for decision on Sun. 6 April. Players have until Sat. 22nd to finish rounds four and five.

Leagues: The final of the Birr Credit Union Ladies League now takes place on Saturday 5th April. The tee is reserved from 12.00 to 1.00.
The fourth and fifth rounds of the Birr Credit Union Men’s League are ongoing until Sat. 22 March. The competition will be run over holes 1 to 9 and 10 to14. All temporary greens are in play. Four cards to count for round four and all five for round five. The top eight teams will qualify for the final.

Inter Club Competitions
Due to the ongoing developments the Club will not participate in several of the GUI run competitions this year. It will enter teams in the Fred Daly, the Junior Foursomes, the Irish Mixed and one or two others. Teams will take part in all of the non-GUI run competitions.
LMC Fixtures
The fixture list for the very popular LMC is posted in the locker room. The first outing is to Mountrath on Mon.7 April.
Congratulations
Heartiest congratulations to Stephen Grant on winning the Minor League Golf Tour at the Inverary Open in Florida last week. Also for finishing second in the DBS at the Florida Club the previous week. He certainly is on a roll. Best of luck to him in the Osprey Creek Classic this week.
