Course Development
Members are most impressed with the progress being made on the course development. Seeding has been very satisfactory and the grass on the new fairways has enjoyed splendid growth over the past few weeks. The first fairway should see growth within the week with the 9th, 10th, 11th and 18th greens ready for seeding. Fortunately the weather favoured our contractors who have had little or no trouble from the elements. Congratulations to all, especially Noel Molloy and his committee for undertaking such a heavy task.
Sympathy
The members offer deepest sympathy to Nabla and Roisin Loftus and their families on the death of their father Jim at the weekend. Jim was a dedicated member of our Club for many years and with his wife Eileen contributed much to the development of the Club. Í measc na naomh go raibh sé.
